Choosing the best Ocean City MD Hotel for You

So you've decided to go to OC, MD? Deciding where to stay is no small task! Considering heading out for a family vacation, a romantic time, or possibly a fun-filled senior week? Whatever the reason, I strongly urge you to go. OC, MD is a fantastic place to vacation. Of course you need a good hotel. Please allow me to share some of my advice as to where the best hotels are.

Hotels by the Ocean City Boardwalk

Hotels near the boardwalk is where all the action is. If you are looking for a "quiet" vacation, this will not be for you. Getting a hotel on a block with a low street number (we suggest nothing higher then 10th street), is a must. When you talk to the hotel be sure to ask them how close they are.

There seems to be an endless supply of things to do at the boardwalk. Perhaps you enjoy boogie boarding, or maybe taking it easy on the beach is more your thing. There is no shortage of things to do at OC. There is also a ton of restaurants, both elegant and budget-friendly.

Hotels closer to Delaware

Heading north towards Delaware really changes the scene. It is less crowded, things are better spread out, it is even cleaner. On 125th street you will find a really nice park, perfect for a nightly romantic walk or game of ball, you can even rollerblade there.

There are still plenty of things to do in this area. You can go to the local movie theater, enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants, or enjoy a day at a less crowded beach.

Above all, be sure to have fun at OC, MD. Isn't that what vacation is all about? The great thing about OC, MD is that it has a bit of something for everyone. So get out there and make a reservation!
